Rocim and Barbeito - A Meias 2022
Ricardo Diogo and Pedro Ribeiro decided to take an amphora from Alentejo to Madeira in 2020 to create a different wine together, and since then, they have kept this project alive. For this blend, they chose grapes from two vineyards, one in Seixal and another in S. Vicente, both on the north coast of the island. Fermentation and aging took place for nine months in the amphora, and then they divided the wine between one 320L amphora and four others, each 60L. In August 2023 they bottled 716 units, all numbered.

With a citrus color and fresh aroma, this white wine is slightly dry on the palate with assertive acidity. It highlights a citrus flavor and a persistent, mineral, salty, elegant, and beautifully fresh finish. Excellent with seafood dishes, fish, and slightly salty cheeses.
